I’m here to help you find that connection.

Mallory Beckstrom is a birth doula in Lakeville, Minnesota

Hey, I’m Mallory.

I’m a birth doula, but you can think of me as your birthy best friend. I believe that our bodies are wonderfully designed and made to birth babies, however that happens…But sometimes we need help having the empowered and strong birth we desire. That’s where I come in.

Combining my training as a doula with my training in somatics (mind-body connection), I am honored to help you find that connection during this special time in your life. I promise to provide safe, non-judgmental space for you and your partner, as well as evidence-based research to help you make informed and confident decisions along the way.

No matter how you choose to birth your baby, my goal is that you feel loved, informed, and supported mentally, emotionally, and physically throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

 Kind Words

"Mallory was extraordinary! As a first time mom I felt nervous of this experience and even though I hired her late through pregnancy she was just what I needed and more. On the day of delivery she got right into action doing counter pressures on my back, helping me breathe through my contractions, encouraging me that I'm doing wonderful (and so much more) and as contractions were increasing she was there with me the whole time. She kept helping me with counter pressures on my back, reminding me how I'm supposed to breathe so my body can work with labor and not against it. There were moments where I wanted to give up but she encouraged me, reminded me what was all this pain bringing. And thanks to her I have my baby boy with me in my arms. Words can't even describe how valuable her presence was that day. Thank you for all you did in that room for me and baby! We are extremely thankful."

You deserve to welcome your baby into the world feeling positive, loved, and supported.
